Group Singers Masterclass

2 hour long masterclasses for beginner, intermediate or advanced levels in a group of minimum 10 singers (you will be put in a group that is the right level for you!)

• Learn the basic techniques for excellent singing
• Learn how to use your body correctly and stop forced sounds from the throat
• Learn a variety of singing and breathing exercises you can do yourself at home
• Learn the basics of sight-reading and sight-singing with the help of Solfeo and pitching tricks
• A healthy kick-start to your passion for singing
• Work on one specific song of your choice (any genre) which everyone in the group will present to each other at the end – there is no pressure, just if you feel comfortable!

Place: The University of Leeds

Price: £15 per person (minimum of 10 people). Further discounts available for bigger groups or student societies.

Date and time: Please contact me to show your interest. I have a waiting list for masterclasses and run sessions 4 times per year for each level. If you are a group of 4 singers at the same level, I can prepare a masterclass for you at any time that suits. I usually run masterclasses at the weekends or during school/university holidays, but also have a flexible timetable Monday-Friday.

Individual Singers Masterclass

1 hour 30 minutes long, one-to-one masterclasses for beginner to advanced levels

• Learn the basic techniques for excellent singing in any style
• Learn how to use your body correctly and stop forced sounds from the throat
• Learn a variety of singing and breathing exercises you can do yourself at home
• Learn the basics of sight-reading and sight-singing with the help of Solfeo and pitching tricks
• Great for exam and audition preparation, or a healthy kick-start to your passion for singing
• Work on one or two specific songs of your choice (any genre)

Place: The University of Leeds

Price: £45 one-to-one, or bring a friend for £30 each.
